Out of Time

Poor Denzel. For the first time, I feel bad for him, I really do. Either his agent needs to be fired or he needs to go into rehab, because I don't want to believe he would be in this abysml movie otherwise. There are very few movies that I actually give up on. After 45-min. of poorly written dialoge, see-through plot dynamics, and non-existance acting it was certainly Out of Time.

With the prospect of having to write three different reviews for the different media outlets I work with for this movie, I had to give up. If you saw this in the theater then you don't need this review to know to stay away from the DVD.

For everyone else, unless you suffer from insomnia and need a comatose injection DON'T WATCH THIS MOVIE.

The synopsis tells the whole story. The first 20 minutes tells the whole story. There is no where for it to go. At least no where interesting. It did gross 41 million in the box office. 16 million in the first three days and then the word was out. The following week its weekly take was cut in half and then again the week after.

With only 24 days in release Out of Time was down to little more than a million dollar gross. Luckily for the studio, there are a lot of Denzel fans or else it would never have made 41 million dollars.

Please Denzel, find something worthwhile to use your considerable talents.
